OVERVIEW OF EDUCATION PROGRAM

Creighton Psychiatry Faculty are exceptionally active in education and clinical training.  We offer a wide range of courses in the School of Medicine.  We also are involved in teaching in other Schools and Colleges within Creighton University. Together with the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, we jointly administer the unique Creighton-Nebraska Psychiatry Residency Training Program.  The residency includes a superb program in general psychiatry as well as fellowships in Child-Adolscent Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry. We also provide a range of regular Continuing Medical Education activites, as well as sponsor special lectures, workshops, and conferences.  Information on all of those programs can be found below.The Department also sponsors the Center for Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis, to promote interdisciplinary and interinstitutional programs in psychoanalysis and related psychotherapies,
