Professional Experience
Dr. Dickel arrived at Creighton in 1976 as a counselor educator. He enjoys teaching coursework involving human development, and his research interests include primary prevention and contextual influences on development. Dr. Dickel served as chair of the Education Department from 1995 - 1998 and dean of University College and Summer Sessions from 1998 - 2002.
